In honour of Remembrance Day, below is a picture of my Great Grandfather Albert on the day he came home from WW1. I don't think his daughter, my Aunt, remembered him!

Happy Conference!

Hope you had a great time with your classmates at the Conference! Now I want to hear what you learned! Here is your Conference Assignment!!

Conference for 9's and 10's!!

On October 12th and 13th, Lord Byng will be having it's annual Conference for grade 9 and 10's!

On those two days, grade 9 and 10's will attend workshops instead of regular classes. This is part of Planning 10 and Career Education 9.

For a schedule of the workshops you will be attending- check outside the office and library later this week.

If you forget to check your schedule- just remember that all grade 9 and 10's have an assembly first period on the 12th. So just head there and check your schedule afterwards!

The conference assignment will be posted on this website. It will be due a week after the conference.

A few points to remember before the end of the year!

First- If you are still failing- do any of the assignments to the left that you haven't already done and also the Last Hope Assignment. Hand them all in by June 9th. That's next Friday!

Lastly-  Regarding the comments I made during our assembly about my cat Lucille being a jerk, she has demanded asked that I post her side. She feels that her actions keep us on our toes and it is good for humans to know their place. That she wakes us at night as being nocturnal is the natural way. Also, that there is nothing wrong with a good, strong love for shoes.

And seriously, as I write this Lucille is trying to sit on the keyboard of my laptop.
