Marks and Happy Holidays!

Reports will be out this week and many of you may be a little surprised at your Planning 10 mark- Yes, I was serious, if you do not hand in anything you will not pass!  Come and see me in the New Year to get some make-up assignments if you are failing.  Otherwise, have a very relaxing and Magical Holiday!

Opportunity Fair!

The Opportunity Fair will be on December 7th next week.  Grade 10's will be called down about 1:00 pm.  Instead of an assembly that day you will have small group sessions with the various schools and organizations.  You will be able to sign up for the session that interests you the most.  There will be an assignment to go along with the fair that you must do, attendance is also mandatory!

Missed an Assignment?!

Not a problem!  While Exit Slips are only given once at the assemblies, you can still make up other assignments you have missed.  The Conference assignment and the Mental Health assignment are available underneath- Assignments! - on the left side of the site.  Term One is almost over so get to it!!

New Background...

Our new background is in honour of a new movie coming out next week that I am sure a few of you, including myself, will be going to see. 

Assemblies coming up!

Great assembly with Jeremy Dias last week!  We have two great presentations coming up. On November 15th we have a one woman play performed by Meghan Gardiner called Dissolve and on November 18th we will have Reach Out- finally our Mental Health Rock Band!

We have an exciting presentation coming to our school for the Collaborative day on the 21st of October. Jeremy Dias will be presenting his message of "Promoting diversity and ending discrimination" Check him out at Jer's Vision

Conference 2010!

Thanks to all the students and presenters who made our yearly conference a success. Our presenters all thought you were great students. So, thanks for being such good hosts! Reminder to those who have not done the mandatory assignment- it is available from the Lord Byng website.

Change of subject...

Sadly our ReachOut rock band is not able to make it tomorrow as their drummer is ill. They will be coming in to play for you at a date. So, prepare yourself for a surprise assembly tomorrow!
